It was midday, the sun was shinning down on her, mocking her, but she paid no heed, instead she looked at the ruins that lay in front of her. Her face fell from it's usual dreamy look to one of complete seriousness. She ran towards where the door should have been. She collapsed and instantly began to dig, dig, dig.
Usually she wasn't this desperate for anything, she would patiently look for it, but this was something different, this was something that meant the whole world to her. If she wasn't so involved with her mission she may have noticed that she was no longer alone, in fact she wasn't the only person digging in the rubble as well.
By now the girl was in a state of panic she had moved her long blonde hair to her right side. Tears were threatening to fall from her clear blue eyes, another thing that didn't happen often. I have to find it, she thought, I HAVE to find it.
Then an arm went around her shoulder and hugged her. This brought her back to reality, there were several people around her, and she hadn't noticed their precence at all. Ginny sat next to her, still holding onto her shoulder, Ron and Hermionie were standing next to each other, holding hands. Dean stood next to Hermione, Neville was sitting on a large cluster of what used to be her wall, Harry was kneeling next to her all had a look of concern, but none questioned her.
"Luna, is this what your looking for?" She looked up to see George holding a picture frame. He handed it to her, and she gently accepted it. The wooden frame was nicked and the glass cover was broken, but the picture itself remained the same. A small blonde girl in a blue dress being twirled around by a woman with the same blonde hair both laughing. She set it on the ground and threw her arms around George.
"Thank you." she whispered into his good ear. It was a good thing Luna Lovegood had good friends.
