-another moment gone-

I'm not falling,

I'm merely a speck of dust,

Floating up, up up and away.

I am not falling.

I'm not falling,

I'm spiraling controllably,

A hint of lips turned upwards,

They smile with their wicked brown,

Flicking with pools.

I am not falling.

I'm not falling,

I'm spinning and twirling,

The evidence of traces of a smile,

Rosy cheeks and chattering teeth,

Weak knees and tight throats,

I'm nervous but,

I am not falling.

I'm not falling,

I'm dancing and thinking,

At night the darkness falls in blankets,

They wrap their slender arms around me—

I'm safe and sound.

I am not falling though.

I'm not falling,

I'm simply peeking with curious orbs,

Blooming smiles and

Grateful hearts fluttering,

I am not falling.

I'm not falling,

I do meet those gentle browns,

Shaded with long dark coal black lashes,

A gradual tipped up lopsided grin,

I feel it coming.

I have not fallen,

I have jumped

And I am

Flying.
