The night was stormy and usually dark. Hermione was sitting in a small little restaurant along with Harry, Luna, Ron and Lavender. Hermione kept checking her watch wondering where Fleur could be, unaware that outside the restaurant a small hooded figure watched her through a window. The couples dinner was something the group did every Monday night. After waiting for half an hour everyone was starving and Hermione finally agreed that they should go ahead and order without Fleur (much to Ron's delight.) They ordered their food and waited for it to arrive. They talked about the weeks events, the conversation revolving mostly around Harry, Ron and Hermione's work at the Ministry. Hermione was usually quiet, she was to busy wondering what was keeping her girlfriend. Fleur had never been this late before. Her silence didn't go unnoticed by those around her. After their food was eaten and paid for Harry pulled Hermione aside.

"Hey I'm sure she just got tied up and didn't have a chance to send a owl. You know how hard shes been working." Harry said.

"I know." sighed Hermione. "I'm just worried. She's never missed dinner with the group before." "Listen I know we were gonna go have some drinks tonight but I think I going to skip it. "Just this once." she added noticing the hurt look on Harry's face. "I just kind of want to go home and wait for her you know make sure she's ok?" Harry gave her a small smile.

"It's ok. I understand. I'll let everyone else know. If you need anything just let me know ok?"

Hermione gave Harry a small kiss on the cheek and walked out of the restaurant. The hooded figure moved back into the shadows making sure they wouldn't be seen. As Hermione walked down the street of Diagon Ally, the figure followed behind her. The street began to clear as the night grew darker. Hermione started to feel as if someone was watching her, she stopped and turned around but didn't see anyone. She shrugged it off and kept walking finally reaching the Leaky Cauldron. As Hermione entered the building the figure stepped out of the shadows and sighed. They lowered their hood letting the rain soak their long red hair.

Inside the pub Hermione saw the long line of witches and wizards waiting on a fire place to floo home. Hermione sighed and decided to apperate instead. She landed just of the flat she shared with Fleur. Fleur was there on the couch, the only problem was she wasn't alone. Victor Krum was there as well. It took a moment for Hermione to take in the scene before her. Victor and Fleur both naked him on top of her, her knees bent around his shoulders. Both moaning with every thrust. Fleur raking her nails across his back as they both came. Neither had noticed Hermione had entered until they began pulling themselves apart. Hermione stood in the doorway her mouth ajar. Victor turned to find his pants , his cock still half erect. He stopped when he saw Hermione. Fleur sat up and noticed her girlfriend as well. She began hastily trying to find her clothes. Hermione surveyed the situation one last time before turning and running from the apartment, tears in her eyes. She didn't hear Fleur calling her name as she ran. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew she couldn't go back there. When she finally stopped running she didn't recognize her surroundings. She sat under a near by tree, not caring that she was soaked from the rain. She thought about what she had walked in on. How long had this been going on? Was this what Fleur was doing all those nights she said she had to work late? How could she? They had been together for four years, since Hermione had left Hogwarts. Hermione curled up under the tree and cried. Fleur had broken her heart. Her tears mixed with the rain as they flowed down her face.
