"Oh no!" Jen screamed, running into the hospital. "Dawson has been
shot by gangsters!"
"But why!" Cried Joey. "Why???"
"He mocked them! He mocked them so horribly." Jen lamented.
"What did he mock!? What did he mock that could cause them to shoot him with such animal brutality into the creek?"
"How did you know about his being shot into the creek!" Jen shouted with sudden suspicion.
"I dunno." Joey shifted guiltily.
"Oh no! You're dating a gangster!" Jen screamed.
"Damn you Jen." Joey started to weep piteously. "It's none of your business whom are my gentlemen callers."
Jen cried too. "Dawson may die because of your heartlessness-your heartlessness is amazing to me. He has been so good to you and you repay his kindness with shooting him into the creek. You broke my heart, Joey. You broke my heart."
Joey sighed. "Yes, I am sorry. I love Dawson, not my gangster boyfriend. I do hope he survives the shooting in the driveby."
"I hope so too. I always wanted you two to get married." Jen said happily.
"Oh but we will." Joey reassured her.
Dawson woke up. He saw Joey and they kissed. Then he pulled out a 24-carat diamond ring from Tiffany's and said-"Hey Joey, you want to marry me and be my wife eternally until one of our death's?"
"Okay!" Joey exclaimed. She enunciated the words with Joey-like triumph.
The next day, they married. It was really cute and Joey look good in her dress.
