They were the complete opposite of each other. But yet, Sage still always enjoyed having her dear Lexi around. They had been friends ever since they both found each other in their desolate newborn stage of vampirism.
Lexi chose a different route than Sage. So they found themselves losing contact. Till one day in 1912, Stefan informs her that Sage is now a female fighter at the local pub in Mystic Falls. She takes immediate interest and is at one of the matches.
She instantly spots Damon and comes to stand next to him, silent. It took him a while to realize who she was. "Alexia," he replied politely, his voice hoarse. She turned to him and gave him a close-mouthed grin. "Nice to see you again Damon," she drawled nonchalantly.
She turned to keep her eyes on Sage and watched as she easily knocked the men out, one by one. "As they had a timeout, she went to her corner and their eyes met. Sage grinned recklessly to Lexi in greeting. Lexi couldn't help but grin back.
"You want to spend the rest of tonight with Sage so she could teach you things huh?" Stefan had told Lexi about Sage teaching Damon how to properly feed on a woman and other things along that sort. "Yes," he admitted gruffly.
She turned to him. "Well to bad. Me and my friend have some catching up to do. It's been over 200 years since we've last had contact," she informed him flippantly. Damon was surprised to know that Lexi and Sage were friends.
He just let it go and nodded to the woman next to him politely. He may be a vampire, but he still had manners. By the end of the match, Sage had left out. Lexi easily followed her trail, meeting her old friend in the woods.
"It's been too long Alexia," her rough-honey sweet voice drawled, as her figure appeared in front of her. Lexi grinned. "Far too long," she agreed. They stood in front of each other, silence swimming around them. Lexi lunged forward and hugged her best friend tightly.
They chuckled, and Sage hugged her back happily. They stared at each other. Something was different. They both seemed different from before. Lexi trembled and Sage took that motion as a opening. She leaned forward and captured Lexi's lips with hers.
They mingled passionately and soon enough they pulled away from the sweet taste of each other. "I see you're promoting killing humans," Lexi replied icily, the mood taking a 360 degree turn. "I see you're promoting killing animals," Sage replied dryly.
"It's better than watching a human being die," Lexi shot back hotly. "What's the problem. We're not human and we don't have humanity! It doesn't matter," Sage jived, coming closer to Lexi. She shook her head in disagreement.
"I don't understand how I'm friends with you," Lexi breathed out, the tension seemed to leave them easily after a moment of silence. Sage grinned. "Ditto."
So. I admit I'm thinking of writing a couple drabbles with the female vampires. Like Lexi/Katherine. Lexi/Rebekah. Rebekah/Rose. Along those lines of course. So look forward to that. Hope you enjoyed. Please review xD
