The Reason's
Scream
I keep screaming,
When you come into my dreams,
'Don't lay your hands on me…'
It never really seems to work,
I keep crying,
When you pop up,
With sickly sweet intentions.
I keep falling,
But no one ever seem to help me up,
"Give me a lift…"
Just doesn't say enough.
Gravity's the only thing holding me up,
But my knees have had enough.
Running.
I always seem to run from you,
But I can never seem to get anywhere.
Why must you always be there…?
If I never see your face again…
I know I wouldn't cry,
Maybe a piece of joy would hit me inside…
Or maybe my tears…
Would go dry…
Would you ever release your hold on me…?
Or would you still haunt me every passing day…?
Those slits on my wrists…
That you ask about…
You.
That's all I need to say.
You're not my save haven,
You're my hell on earth,
Your flames never seem to burn out,
But expand,
Burning my skin,
Slowly,
Coldly,
Harshly…
Watch me cry,
One more time,
Watch me slice my wrists,
One more time,
Watch me die,
For the last time…
Watch me laugh,
Watch me jump,
Watch me fly…
Then watch me die…
And I'll leave you with a promise…
I'll make sure you'll be the next to die…
And you know the reasons why.

This poem is based on nightmares I keep having, and I have no memory of anything up until parts of when I was 10, and it gets worse and worse, so maybe this has a deeper meaning…I'll never know…for now. I hoped you guys like it, and please review and comment.
