Chapter 1
PRELUDE
The mother rose her head as the baby touched the also one week old dragon. The little girl's mother smiled but her „animal" wasn't so happy about it.
„I don't like this." Her voice echoed in the Fire Princess' mind.
''What's wrong?''
''Your daughter. I don't know, but her energies are... Dark.''
''You're paranoid. How could be a baby's energy dark? Also, since you're my spirit animal, she's your daughter, too. Kind of.''
''Only the Avatar has a spirit animal.''
''I know, but I didn't know any better word for this relationship.'' The dragon rolled her eyes.
''You can call it animal twin.''
''Sounds good for me.''
''I still don't like the situation, though. I have a very bad feeling. Like my son is in danger if she even goes near him.''
''OUR, son. Kind of. But why would he be in danger?''
''How should I know? About this, I'm just as clever as you.'' Ursa smiled.
''True. But I think they will understand and love each other as much as we do.''
''I hope you're right.''
''I always have right, haven't I?''
''You're not funny.''
''I didn't wanted to be.'' Giggled the lady.
''Oh, yes, you did...''

I know. Plenty of my other works are still not finished. But I won't put them on hiatus, no matter, how slow the next chapters coming. :D And slowly but surely I understand those K, K+, T letters, too. Hurray!
About this story: Yup, these are spiritual, and not spirit animals. They excange powers with their brothers/sisters or other half. (Well, they're none of this to each other, but they're each of them, once.) The dragons, badgermoles, sky bisons and arctic wolves (yeah, wolves, since I couldn't turn everybody into the moon) are give power to bend the elements, people are give mind to them. (They would still have a personality without them, but they would be controlled by their instinct, mostly.)
Also, the Riders' (Let's call them riders. I watched Eragon for three times since three days ago. Plenty of you maybe don't like the movie version, but I do.) can share thoughts with anybody, if they want to. But the humans can't do the same.
I also could use a new beta, since my English... Well... S*cks.
