Crazy, a heroes fanfic

I remember when, I remember

I remember when I lost my mind

I had been working on one of my favorite projects when he had walked through the door. He looked at me like I was something extraordinary. When I had asked him how I could help him he answered me with the promise of my dreams. He was gonna give me something, give me a life, I had always wanted. I was special. I was destined for something more then just the family business.

Afterward I was angry. I was special. I knew it; whether that 'doctor' saw it or not. I had gazed down at that 7-digit number in my palm. This was my chance. I summoned the other and he came. He was confused, scared, unworthy, broken. And I would fix him. I took what he didn't deserve. I would take what they didn't deserve. They didn't know how to be special; I did. I would fix it, them, me.

Well I could always get rid of them. All in all I would have fun. I loved the way they scream, the way they tried to run, fight back. But none of them could stop me. They weren't special enough. Not like me.

They thought they were in control. Ha! You cannot control me. Cannot tame me. And they did. They thought they could trick me. But I saw through that easily. They thought they could understand me. But no one can. You can't understand the need, the hunger. I am a hunter and you are my prey. Nothing can stand in my way.

Its funny how things can change. Soon I wasn't the only 'crazy' one. I wasn't the only one hunting them down. And suddenly they were far worse. They didn't scare me. Oh no. I had them play right into my trap. And they fell for it. Too easy. Instead of trying to stop me they now work for me. And they still think they're in control. Sad pathetic beings. They will learn.
