Incredibly Right
Summary: Richard was right about which "she" Derek was referring to.

His heart raced and his hands were shaking. Derek could hear the blood rushing through his veins but he had only one thought on his mind…
To find her.
He could not stop thinking about her. His sole focus was having her in his arms and to know that she was safe. That she had gotten out of this whole ordeal safe, sound and unharmed.
He needed to know that she was okay and that he would be okay too. Derek had been thinking about her since it all started. He had been thinking about her in the back of his mind the entire time his own life was in danger.
Derek raced down the hallway of the hospital. His stride increased as he walked into the main area. He saw Adele and Richard standing there.
"Where is she?" He demanded as he breezed past them. His blue eyes searched the area frantically but he found nothing.
He turned back around toward them a moment later. "Where is she?"
"She is right here…" Richard said as his eyes met with hers.
Her beautiful blue-green eyes locked on to his as she rounded the corner and walked toward him with her arms outstretched. And the second he saw that she was indeed safe a weight was lifted from his shoulders.
"Addie, " He whispered as he gathered her in his arms and held on tight.
She wrapped her arms around him and buried her head in the crook of his neck. Derek sighed as he pulled her closer and tighter to him and lifted her off the ground a little bit. He could feel her tears on his shoulder and it made it harder to keep his own tears at bay.
This is what he had been most scared of. That he would never see her again. Derek had been terrified that he would never feel her warmth again and was so happy that he did not have to.
"Don't scare me like that again you stupid jerk!" She said into his ear and he chuckled and leaned back a little.
"I will try not to." He said and placed a searing kiss on her lips that she accepted.
Derek knew now that things would be okay if Addison and he could be together. He lost himself in the kiss and forgot that just hours before he was in serious risk of losing this forever.
