Number One: Bones.

(Setting: A classroom)

"Ow! Pain!"

"Hold still, Tora."

"I have delicate skin – ow! You did that on purpose!"

"Did not. Now. Hold. Still."

"Why do you get to write first, anyway? I thought Ryu would've beaten you."

"I shotgunned the position of first, only because I'm your best friend. There, I'm done. And proud of it, if I do say so myself."

"Isn't it a bit...possessive?"

"Like I said, I'm your best friend. I can write stuff like that."

"If Ryu saw that, he'd have you for a throw rug."

"Let him try. He'd have to get through you and your broken arm first. By the way, Tora, how did you break your arm?"

"...you really love torturing me, don't you, Tidus?"

"Enlighten me. Come on."

"Shut up."

Number Two: Camera.

(Setting: A grassy hill)

"Smile!"

"What the-"

"Keep it clean, Tidus. I wanted to show you the new camera Mum bought me today."

"Sweet!"

"That's what I thought. The first image I wanted on this thing is of my best friend and I. So what do you say?"

"There's a spare patch of grass beside me, Tora. Sit down and start snapping!"

"Yes sir!"

"...it looks bad."

"That's because you didn't smile. We'll try again, ok?"

"Okay."

"...you had to, didn't you?"

"Looks much better now."

Number Three: Remote.

(Setting: Tora's living room)

"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!"

"No. I'm choosing this time, and you can't stop me."

"Tidus, last time you chose the movie, I had nightmares about falling for a week."

"That's the great thing about me choosing, Tora. You're going to have to face your fear sooner or later."

"I'll face it later. Thanks for the offer."

"Sit down, kitty, or I'll tell your twin brother about your tattoo."

"You evil person. You're plotting my demise with honey, I swear it."

"Yeah, yeah. See, it's okay once it gets started."

"...I'm going to die. I'm too young to die."

"Look, a cheesy scene. Bet you didn't expect to see that in this movie."

"They're on a god damned plane! In the frigging air! What is this, the mile high club for losers?! Get out of there!"

"Your fear of heights knows no bounds, Tora. Next time, you can have the remote."

Number Four: Time

(Setting: A haunted house)

"Yeah, I'm spending the night here with you because..."

"Because we're here to prove the saying 'time heals all wounds'."

"So why here, of all places? Couldn't they have just locked us in the janitor's closet or something?"

"Search me."

"...how long have you been my best friend?"

"Shut up."

"Okay, the sooner the night is over –"

"- the sooner we can leave."

"Stop finishing –"

"- my sentences!"

"Hey Tidus?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for being here with me. I'd be screwed if you weren't."

"Any time, Tora. Any time."

Number Five: Violet.

(Setting: Tora's kitchen)

"The flowers smell good. What are they?"

"Ironically enough, my dad's favourite flower. Common violet."

"I thought violets didn't have a scent."

"These ones do. That's why Dad liked them. They were unique, like him."

"Your dad really loved these flowers, huh?"

"He used to keep some in a vase in his study. Their smell reminds me of him."

"I'll have to remember that next time you take me to see your dad."

"Thanks."

"Hey, now I know why every time you hang out you smell so good. It's the violets!"

"I keep some in a vase in my studio. Further reminders of my dad. I like to take him with me everywhere."

"And you say you're a bad luck magnet when it comes to guys..."

"You're different. You're my best friend."

"And now I smell as good as I look."
