A/N This is not my story. This is a story from a friend of mine, SparklyHippo3000.
A/N: This is my first fanfiction. I hope you like it. Thank you to JanusGirl101 for posting this for me.
Quigley's point of view.
I was looking at Violet Baudelaire. We were sitting next to each other on a ledge half way up a frozen waterfall. She's so beautiful, I thought. I really like her but how should I tell her that? I could just blurt it out. Naw, that's no good. Ugh, I'm not good at this.
Before he could think up anything else to say, Violet broke the silence. "Quigley." She said timidly. "Can I ask you something?" "Sure" I said, hoping that she would ask her if I liked her "Do you think Dunkin would like me?"
O man, why would she fall for Dunkin? I thought. I wanted to hurl the carrots as far as I could. What should I do now? I could just tell her that Dunkin would never fall for a girl like her and that he only likes rich, snotty girls. Or I could just tell her what I think about her and then tell her that's how I feel about her. I decided to go with plan B.
"Why wouldn't he fall for you?" I said. "You're smart, intelligent, beautiful, and your inventions always work."
Violet blushed. "Thanks Quigley." She said.
"Well," I said timidly, "that's how I feel about you."
"Really?" She said.
"Yes" I said. Then I leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.
Violet's point of view.
Wow, I thought. The view up here is wonderful! I looked down and I could see Klaus looking through the refrigerator. Then I noticed that Quigley was staring at me. Maybe I should say something. But what? I thought. Then it occurred to me that I could ask Quigley if Dunkin would like a kind of girl like me. I decided to say that.
"Quigley can I ask you a question?" I asked.
"Sure" he said.
"Do you think Dunkin would like me?" the look on his face made me wish I hadn't asked that question. After an awkward silence he said,
"Why wouldn't he fall for you. You're smart, intelligent, beautiful and your inventions always work." Aw that was so sweet.
"Thanks Quigley" I said.
"Well that's how I feel about you." He said. He liked me? I've never had a boy like me before.
"Really" I said.
"Yes." He said. Then he leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. Wow, I thought. He kissed me. I couldn't believe it. I didn't know what to think. I didn't know what to say. I just said we should get going. Yeah, dorky, I know but it was the only thing I could think of.
"Yeah, we half to get up there before sunset." He said. I could tell he was smiling. As we went on I couldn't help smiling too.
Klaus's point of view.
I was standing next to the only thing that didn't burn down. The fridge. I was looking all over it to find something that could be a clue. I decided to look in the bottom drawer. I looked in and found, to my surprise, a pair of binoculars! Why would they be there? Oh well I guess I could just use them to see how Violet and Quigley where doing.
To my surprise again, Quigley was kissing Violet on the cheek! I was shocked. Then I started day dreaming, Quagmire…Isadora Quagmire… Isadora. Her hair flouncing as she walked, her hand flying over the page as she made a couplet. I shook my head. I had to focus. But now my head was filled with two more problems. What was I going to do about Quigley and Violet? I guess I should just tell them what I saw. I also had to try to stay focused and not go to dream land with Isadora.
