"Hi! Joy here, last you all knew, Riley had us five emotions living upstairs; me, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust. Buuut, Riley has gotten older and with her age came some new, mature roommates. I'm so excited to introduce you all to them! First, we have Surprise, she joined us when Riley's parents planned and executed her first surprise party! Surprise adds a new color to our group; yellow! Surprise come say hello to everyone...Surprise?"

"Surprise!" Surprise jumped out from behind the control console.

"Oh!" Joy put her hand over her heart. "You surprised me!As you can see, Surprise does a great job! Next, we have Trust. Trust is teal. He came here when Riley's parents trusted her to stay home alone for the first time."

"Hello everyone, I am Trust, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintances."

"Trust, who's in charge of the control console right now?"

"Fear. I trusted him with it while I introduced myself to your friends."

Joy ran over to the console and watched the screen. "Fear! We don't want Riley to be afraid of flowers!"

"But they are full of pollen! And insects!"

"I'll take it from here Fear." Joy regained control of the console. "Our newest roomie is Embarrassment, she arrived when Riley's parents kissed her during a school drop off. She is the color pink!" Joy lowered her voice, "I think her and Fear have a thing for each other...but don't say anything because she will definitely be embarrassed." Joy increased he volume, "Embarrassment, come introduce yourself!"

"Hello everyone, I am Embarr..." Embarrassment slipped. She stood back to her feet blushing an intense pink on her soft pink cheeks. "I am embarrassed...I mean I am Embarrassment!" She put her face in her palm.

"Now there are eight of us!"

"It's feeling kind of crammed in here! We're losing oxygen! Enclosed spaces! I can't breathe!"

I can't wait to see who joins us next!" Joy leaped.

"It better not be love, too much heartbreak" Sadness sighed.

"EWW. No love!" Disgust crossed her arms.

"Oh, guys, looks like Riley is getting ready to dream!" Joy noticed watching the screen.

"I got this one," Embarrassment took the control. "Might as well get the showing-up-to-school-in-only-underwear nightmare out of the way."
