This story takes place within the world of ReBoot, a computer-animated cartoon series created by Mainframe Entertainment, Inc.  The characters and setting are used without permission but with the best of intent.

This is a Season 1 fanfic – it doesn't contain any spoilers, but you'll enjoy it more if you've watched a few episodes of ReBoot.

My time system is as follows:

1 cycle = 1 second, 1 nanosecond = 1 minute, 1 millisecond = 1 hour, 1 second = 1 day,

1 minute = 1 week, 1 hour = 1 month

And my distance system:

1 nanometer = 1 millimeter, 1 micrometer = 1 meter, 1 millimeter = 1 kilometer
