Samantha's voice was stern and cold. "Let go, Martouf."

He looked up at her with innocent eyes.

She sighed and he couldn't suppress a grin as he tugged at her sand coloured Tok'Ra dress until she sat down next to him on the bench.

"Why do you always resist? You never win," he said softly.

"Is it really that important to you that I do this?"

"Absolutely, incredibly important, of vital necessity!"

She gave in, "just once. Then I'm going."

He wrapped an arm around her and kissed her in gratitude.

"Good. Stand up… in the centre of the room," he said adjusting the device in his hands. She diffidently moved to stand before him as he held it up and watched her through its viewfinder.

"Smile for me, love," he said.

She managed to smile and look annoyed at the same time.

"Perfect," he said sarcastically, "Now I have evidence of what you're really like. Please, Samantha!"

She gave in and smiled happily, and turned around when he said and looked into the device when he said.

He lowered his hand and deactivated it.

"Was that so hard?" he teased, "Now I can see you whenever I want." He pressed a small green sensor on the device's surface and it instantly projected her hologram in the room. She watched the image of herself in fascination until she became uncomfortable and looked to Martouf instead.

"I'm going now, and you can't stop me," she said fending off his attempts to grab her again. She waved as she disappeared from the crystal chamber.

"I'll come to see you in the lab when I can get away," he yelled.

Martouf pressed the green sensor again until the holographic Sam appeared to be looking into his eyes. There he paused it and leant back, content to look at his beautiful lover for as long as he could until life interrupted.

The End.
