Later On?
"What was he thinking?" thought the Silver Haired Assassin as he walked down the corridor to his best friend's room. "The dumb ass could have been killed".
As he reached the door he went to knock. "I don't need to knock; he's not exactly going to be naked". He blushes as he thinks of Gon naked but quickly dismisses it from his head.
He gathers himself together and walks into the room to see Gon hanging out of the window.
"Gon" he gasps as he runs over to pull the boy back inside of the room.
"What do you think you were doing?" he asks angrily.
Gon says nothing he merely sits there and sticks his tongue out at Kilua.
"What is the point in doing that" Kilua shouts while grabbing hold of Gons tongue with one hand and throwing him on the bed.
"Ow Kilua dat Herd" he said.
Kilua took one look at Gon and saw that he was in minor pain. He melted as soon as he looked into those puppy dog eyes of his. Gon knew that Kilua couldn't stay mad at him for long.
"I'm sorry Gon. I was worried that's all"
"Worried about what?" he asks with all the innocence of a newly born baby.
"That you might fall out of the window and die. Just like you could have when you were fighting Guido."
"He told me he wouldn't kill me so I wasn't worried. Anyway I wouldn't let him kill me I still haven't fought Hisoka yet".
"Good" came Kilua's reply. "Just don't rush into fighting any one again".
"Why are you so worried Kilua? I thought you would be more worried about your own fight".
"I'm worried because you are my best friend and if anything happened to you I would be on my own. I don't like being on my own!"
At this point Kilua has leant forward and was shouting right in Gons face with his spittle splattering Gons eyes. Their noses were barely inches apart.
"Kilua" Gons sighs. "You know I wouldn't ever let you be on your own again. I promised to go every where with you didn't I?"
"Well, yeah"
"There you have it".
"Gon what are you doing?" Kilua asks as Gon leans forward and pulls him into a hug.
"Making you feel better"
Kilua feels himself loosen and wraps his arms around Gon. "Thank you, Gon".
As he pulls away his cheek rubs against Gons. They sit there smiling for a moment before Kilua cups Gons cheeks in his hands and pulls him closer.
Gon knows what he is going to do and does not resist.
Kilua leans in and within a moment places his lips upon Gons. Kilua closes his eyes so as not to see the look on Gons face, when he does open them he is surprised to see that Gon has his eyes closed but not in a grimace of disgust.
The kiss continues for up to a minute until Kilua feels better and pulls away from his best friends lips.
"Thanks Gon" he says as he gets up to walk over to answer a knock at the door.
"No problem Kilua".
Kilua pulls open the door and in steps Wing-san. Kilua immediately goes a deep shade of red and looks at Gon who looks as normal relaxed.
"Did I interrupt something" Wing asks with a quizzical look on his face.
"Nothing that we cant continue later on" Gon replies.
"Huh?" Kilua thinks quietly to himself.
"See you later Wing-san, Gon." He says as he walks out of the door with a huge smile on his face.
"Later on eh? I cant wait."
