A silver haired young man stared at the screen in front of him. It showed a harsh, barren world full of dangerous creatures. It was almost time for the show to begin. He took a seat in front of the screen and put his finger to his ear.
"Testing, testing. Is everything ready?" The man waited a moment, and then nodded. Mechanical orbs flew in and hovered around him.
"Welcome all, to the premiere episode of the Marvel version of Truth or Dare. We will be taking characters from the Marvel universe and have them answer truths and dares from you the viewers. If there is anything you want them to answer or do then go ahead and ask." Several blue beams of light appeared. "Here come the first vict…ahem, contestants now."
Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Angel, Iceman and Beast materialized. "Greetings X-men and welcome to Truth or Dare." Toad, Mastermind, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were next. "Here we have the infamous Brotherhood of Mutants," Ant Man, Hulk Thor, Wasp, Ironman and Captain America appeared. "Last, but not least, the Avengers." Each group immediately took battle positions. However, The young man spoke first.
"No need for alarm, all of you have been brought here to play a game of truth or dare. All resistance is futile as I have the ability to nullify all super human powers and am twice as strong as a human in peak physical condition." he said, "I can also teleport you there with the touch of a button." The young man pointed to the screen behind him as a giant creature flew by, the only thing seen clearly was its razor sharp talons.
The people gathered looked at each other, some looked as though they would resist, but the others motioned for them to behave. Captain America spoke up.
"If we cooperate, you'll return us to were we came from?"
"Of course."
"Where I'm from it's customary to introduce oneself when meeting others." said Captain America.
"Of course, I am Alpha Zero, your host. Please, have a seat." Alpha swept his arm and chairs appeared for the contestants to sit in. The contestants sat. "Now, viewers, send us your truths and dares for our contestants."
