SON OF ICE (Milo's pov)

Warning: Shounen-ai hinted. Spoilers from Sanctuary series.

He came walking among the stones, a new-born son of Ice,

Carrying a still figure of Love who had offered his life;

I wondered whether he was worthy of such a sacrifice,

But then he placed his treasure away and stood ready to fight.

Unearthly pride as only I have pushed doubts out of my heart,

Even if weak, he was an enemy, even if young, a man.

When I was c casting my attack, I saw in his eyes a gleam,

A piercing snow-like burning flame which I'd already seen.

And it was a marvel to see how in blue orbs so young

Justice was wielding a fierce sword, and Love a shining star.

It was the time for me to think about his ice-cold hands,

The hands of one who taught this boy in those faraway lands.

I shook my head; the combat had to be ended fairly;

A powerful crystal spell was then cast upon me.

And while I thought that he must die for my own duty's sake,

I disobeyed and let him live and sent him soon away.

I stood alone, alone and hurt among the sacred stones,

Thinking about the gold-haired boy and his generous friend,

Whom probably I'd never see alive and sound again…

About Siberia's king, praying for him to realize

That such a love as those two shared was similar to mine.
