A Cat's Eye Spamfic - Literally!
Cat's Eye Cafe was closed early again today. The Kisugi sisters had something important to discuss: there was new information about an art exhibition at a nearby art gallery - one of the pictures exhibited was on their wanted list.
A plan was devised, and it was ingenius as usual. The element of surprise was very important; the police must be caught off guard, or the plan will not work at all. However, all should go well, except for one thing. Of late, Inspector Toshio Utsumi has been getting dangerously close to discovering Cat's Eye's real identity, and its relationship with the famous artist whose paintings were the target of the art thieves.
"Leave Toshio to me," Hitomi said. "I'll know how to handle him." He was her boyfriend, after all, and recently he moved in with them after his flat was burned down.
"Are you sure, Hitomi?" Rui, the eldest of the three sisters asked. "Of course I'm sure," Hitomi retorted, and Aiko, the youngest said," She has to be, otherwise I'll have to do the job, and then she'll be jealous, won't you, Hitomi-Oneechan?" She winked naughtily, and Hitomi threw a pillow at her which Aiko easily ducked, while yelling "Aiko!!!"
Then suddenly, there was a sound at their door. Someone stepped right in, and straight into their conversation. Toshio!
The three sisters looked up in alarm. "Hitomi...," he said, and stopped when he saw the look on the three sisters' faces. "What is it?" he asked. "Why do you all look so alarmed?"
How much had he heard? A bluff was in order, so Hitomi went up to him and smiled. "It's nothing, Toshio. You just startled us, walking in unannounced like that."
"I heard you mention Heinz," Toshio said.
The three sisters were really alarmed now. "What about Heinz?" Hitomi asked nonchalantly.
"I realize now," he said. Realize what? The three sisters looked at each other, each thinking the of the same question.
"Realize what, Toshio?" Hitomi asked again, hiding the tremble in her voice.
"I must thank him, for he has given me something without which, I could never have survived," Toshio said, looking deep into Hitomi's eyes. "Toshio...," Hitomi said, weakened by the gaze, and at the same time her mind was racing. So he knew now. What will he do now?
"It was thanks to Heinz's Canned Spam that I managed to survive living as a single guy all these years," he announced while holding the aforementioned can of spam out for all the three sisters to see.
The three sisters fell over.
**The End**
It's really dumb, I know, and I sent it to the RAAC some time ago -_-;; I usually just write DBZ fanfics. Some are available here, the rest can be read at my website http://www.geocities.com/shard00/
A very short summary of Cat's Eye:
