This is the story of how music came to be in Equestria. I own nothing in this story. My Little Pony or anything. Thanks to Bemnal The Fallen for indirectly inspiring me to write this.

How Music Came to be

(In Equestria)

This is the story of how music was brought to Equestria. (It's very headcannon and is meant for a certain writer to think about.)This takes place during the era in which Discord ruled.

Discord was strolling around canterlot, enjoying the chaos, when he came aupon a lone mare. She was listening to the birds sing. He overheard her say "I wish we could sing as beautifully as the birds." He agreed. He believed everyone should be able to sound as beautiful as the birds.

So Discord ripped out the throut of the mare and used her bones along with them to make a Lute. He peeled off her skin and used more of her bones to make a drum. He hollowed out her spine and added holes to creat a flute. He then gave the instruments to tthe ponies and taught them how to play, although taking their sanity when he left.
