Prologue: Waking Up
Hermione woke up with a headache and knew immediately it was not going to be a good day. She looked up at all the silver and green on the ceiling and started to panic. Was this a consequence of having too much to drink last night? Perhaps the headache was caused by a hangover. She looked dazedly around the room, coming to a stop at a man sitting at the edge of her bed. She squinted, confused. She knew that man! It was Malfoy! What was he doing here? She opened her mouth, about to ask him, but he interrupted her.
"Are you ok? You did hurt your head pretty badly" Malfoy tried to assess her condition.
That would explain the headache! But why was Malfoy concerned? She tried to ask a question again.
"Don't move! You already are in a delicate condition as it is. Thank god the baby is ok, Healer Shealy checked." He gave her a happy smile.
She was peeved. She would move if she felt like it! She sat up abruptly, but then regretted it as the room started to spin as she slowly lost consciousness. As blackness descended upon her, her last thought was: What do you mean- baby?
