It is a cold winter morning and I have just exited my house. Did I say cold, screw that it's 0 degrees Celsius out here. I feel like I didn't dress hot enough with my jeans, sweater and winter jacket. Link you have made a mistake.
It stopped snowing an hour ago, so the ground and the trees are covered with deep snow. Why I am out here again? Oh yeah, I am going to Zelda's place to finish a project that is due tomorrow.
Zelda is the greatest person I know. She is really smart, top of our class actually, kind and beautiful. She has wavy blond hair and mesmerizing indigo eyes. She and I have been best friends since middle school and now we're at high school. Oh, you don't know how much I want us to be more than that.
I am distracted from my thoughts, when a few bangs of my messy blond hair fall in front of my cobalt eyes, only to realize that I am in front of her house.
I go up to the doorstep and knock on the door.
"Oh, hi Link I didn't think you'd make it", Zelda says to me, after opening the door.
Today she's wearing a pair of jeans and a long-sleeve shirt, her hair is casually let down and her indigo eyes are stunning as always.
"Yeah, I didn't think I'd come either, but we have to finish that project for school", I respond.
"Yes, we do, now come on in", she says and then heads towards her kitchen and I follow her there.
"My parents aren't home so we are on our own", she adds.
"Oh, OK", is all I manage to say back, her words making me blush slightly.
"I'm making some hot chocolate, do you want some?" she asks.
"Yes, please"
While waiting for the hot chocolate to finish I ask her: "What is our project's theme?"
"Romance between couples throughout time", she replies.
Wow, now I feel like the Goddesses are making fun of my feelings for Zelda.
"Speaking of romance I haven't seen you dating anyone recently Link", she says to me.
Caught by surprise I struggle to find an answer.
"Uh, well… I haven't seen you dating anyone either", I say back awkwardly.
Then we fall into an awkward silence that lasts for quite a while.
"Actually I like someone", we say at the exact same time.
My eyes connect with hers for a while. My cobalt blue eyes meet her indigo ones.
And then our lips meet in a soft and tender kiss. We break apart kiss again. As time goes our kisses get more passionate.
The reason why we met is the last thing in our minds. It doesn't matter, though, because it has just started snowing again, which means no school tomorrow and that means more time with Zelda.i
