This is a story that I had in mind for a long while. However, I just kept getting distracted by my other ideas. I hope you all enjoy it. There are a few major changes to the story line so don't assume what will happen.
Introduction
It seemed to be another peaceful night for the people of the Moon Kingdom. There was a large celebration at the palace where all were able to attend. However, one of the main hostesses was not present. She was busy staring out from the balcony in her room. "Sister, what in the cosmos are you doing?" The Lunarian princess, Serenity, was brought out of her train of thought when her younger brother called for her attention. The pink haired princess turned to face her younger sibling with her usually cheerful and gentle smile. "Please don't tell me that you were dreaming about that man," asked the younger heir to the Lunar throne, Prince Stratos, with an aggravated expression on his face.
However, Stratos' irritated state only served to humor the princess, as she giggled at him. "Dearest little brother, does it make you unhappy that I love Prince Endymion," she asked in return, patting her brother's black hair.
"It..it's not that I'm upset that you are unhappy… I just don't want to see you get hurt, that's all," answered Stratos, blushing deeply because he knew how out of character that statement was for him. Nonetheless, there was nothing more important for Stratos than his sister's happiness. "I'll continue to keep quiet about this if that is what you want," he said, directing his eyes to the ground below. Yet, that did not last long, once he felt the pink haired princess place a small peck on his forehead.
"Thank you Stratos. In return, I shall keep quiet about the relationship between you and Princess Mercury," Serenity promised. Stratos stumbled back, his face turning a darker shade of red.
"It's not as if…"
"Do not worry about it, dear Stratos. I think your relationship with Mercury is a wonderful thing," said Serenity with a smile as she turned her attention back to the big blue planet in the sky. "Yes, love is a wonderful thing."
