Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh. Or Mokuba. Or Seto. ::sigh::

Erm... I wrote this at three o'clock in the morning, cuz I couldn't sleep and needed to write. I'm not sure what it is or where it came from, but Zinny says it's pretty good so I'm postin' it. I wrote it! Not sure if that's a good or bad thing though..
(Note to Zinny: I k-now you don't like being called Zinny, but it's fun. =P)

Seto Kaiba paced furiously by the front door of his mansion. 'Where is he? He should be back by now!'
Kaiba thought about earlier that day when he had come home to find his little brother Mokuba not there. It was now after ten PM, and Mokuba still hadn't returned. Just then, Mokuba walked through the front door. "You should have been back hours ago! Where have you been?" the older Kaiba asked angrily.
"I've been around." Mokuba replied.
"Around? And just where is around?"
"Anywhere away from you." Mokuba muttered under his breath.
"What was that?"
"I'm going to my room." Mokuba said as he ran off.
Seto sighed. He'd barely seen Mokuba at all lately. In fact, it seemed as if he was avoiding him. Seto was sure he'd seen Mokuba hanging around with Yugi and his friends. He supposed they would be a good influence, but he wished Mokuba wouldn't try to ignore him.

Mokuba sighed. He really hated upsetting his brother like this, but he couldn't stand seeing Seto anymore. Seto was always so serious, trying to hide his loneliness. Mokuba used to try to ignore it, acting as if Seto was like any other good person. But lately it had been too much. So he went out and made friends with Yugi and his troop. They were really nice people. They really cared about Seto; despite that Seto pretended he didn't care about anyone. Mokuba wished Seto would come out of his shell and be friends with Yugi and just be happy. Mokuba knew that's what Seto wanted. He could see it in his eyes every time Seto saw Yugi with his friends. He saw the longing to have someone to lean on, trust and have fun with. Sure, Seto and Mokuba were like that sometimes. But even with Mokuba, Seto would distance himself. Mokuba wasn't entirely sure why Seto was like this. He knew it had to do with the things their adopted father would do to Seto in order to 'train' him. But Mokuba wished Seto could overcome the past, so he could be happy in the present.
But then, a thought struck Mokuba. He was going about this all wrong. Certainly avoiding Seto wouldn't help him. He had to be there for him. And he could get Yugi and the others to help, to show Seto that they cared about him and wanted to be his friend. Then maybe, they could bring friendship out of loneliness.
