It was dark, the walls were covered with shadows. A tall man came into the few, then laughed the most evil laugh. "W-why are you here?" Spencer Reid asked in a panic, back to the headboard on his bed. Bringing the blankets with him, hiding half his face with them. The man only laughed, and got closer to him. Reid tried to back away, but couldn't.

"I'm here, for you Spencer Reid." His husky voice said, pulling a knife from his pocket. Finally climbing on the bed and grabbing Reid arm. He sliced his pajama sleves to releave the red and blue veins on his wrist. "I'm going to show you, what you want." The man's voice sounded sick and snake-like. Then he pulled a sringe from his pocket filled with the drug he took a while back, when Tobias kidnapped him and tortured him.

"No, NO. I don't want to take it. Don't make me." Reid struggled, but he couldn't get out of his graps. The needle entered his skin, he heard beeping. A rather loud beeping.

He awoke, in his bed. The covers were on the floor and bite marks on his arms. "What the hell?" Questioned Reid, who quickly got out of bed. It was still slighty dark outside, and it was making his room seem darker in comparrison. Stumbling, he turned on the light and pressed himself against the wall. Looking at each corner in his room, for the horrible man in his nightmare.

Glady, he wasn't there. He wasn't anywhere? Was it just a nightmare? Spencer shook his head and then got ready for work, watching every corner of his house to make sure the man was not there.

(((())))

At work, Reid was a nervous wreak. The man could be anywhere, in the office or maybe even in the coffee shop when he goes for a break. Morgan noticed the shaking youngster and approuched him with a rather worried look.

"Kid? You okay?" Derek said, as Reid jumped to the sound of his voice. He gathered himself up from his slouching.

"Hmm, erm, well. Nothing. Nothing at all. Wait-I mean. Yeah, I'm okay." Reid stuttered his way through that sentance, which made Derek know something was wrong. Morgan switched his standing foot, and sighed.

"Pretty boy, we all know something is wrong. 'Fess." Derek Morgan held a straight face, glaring at Spencer Reid. The kid was still trembling, and it was hard for him to skip his coffee without splashing his face.

"Well, I had a dream. A-about a tall man, trying to make me take drugs again. He said I wanted it." Pausing then lifting his head, "I don't want it." A hush of innocent flashed in his brown eyes, then the frequent look of fear came about again.

"Reid, kid. You don't want it, and you should. Remember what happened-" Morgan was cut off.

"Yes, I do remember. It was horrible." Reid answered, looking at the ground once again. The lights went out, and Reid screamed. Kept screaming and screaming, until Morgan reached out and touched his shoulder.

"Reid, REID." Morgan yelled, Spencer stopped screaming. "It's just a power outage, no worries." Saying in a calm tone, so Reid wouldn't freak out.

"No, no. He's going to get me. He attacks in the dark. The dark! that's it, the dark. That's why I'm afraid of the dark. Well, not the dark. We aren't afraid of the dark, we're afraid what's in it. and that man, he's in it." Spencer Reid said in a calm tone, taking nice deep breathes.

"The dark? Oh yeah, you are afraid of the dark." Teased Morgan, pointing his finger and sticking out his tounge at Reid. Who punched him in the stomach, it wasn't hard though as Reid was a skinny guy. "Hey!" Derek laughed, taking Reids coffee and running throughout the office, which was still dark but he didn't want Reid realizing that.
