Will heard a slight sound, nothing more than a sleave against a tree about fifty metres away and whatever it was, it was massive. Will quickly picked out an arrow and held against his long bow, ready for whatever it was in the tree's to come out into the clearing. Will stood still, resisting the temptation to dive for cover because, even in the clearing will would still be hard to make out from more than thirty metres away with his rangers clothes. Another sound, a twig, unhealable to the untrained, the thing was getting closer and it was large.
The thing came out of the clearing, Will saw a massive lion with the finest fur he had ever seen, but the thing that surprised Will the most was the way the lion was behaving, Will expected that the lion would charge out of the trees, angry and attempt to take Will's head off, but this lion was smiling and walking along, "you can put your weapon down son of Adam, I am not here to harm you".
ONE HOUR EARLIER
Will, Alyss, Horace, evanlyn, Halt and Pauline were in Halt and Pauline's four room apartment in the castle. The apartment had just been refurnished and the others had came to take a look. It was Halt's birthday and Pauline had invited them all to come six of them had been happily chatting for quite a while and the sun was bigining to set. Pauline took Will aside and whispered "get Halt's birthday present from the wardrobe",will nodded once and then went to the main bedroom to fetch it.
Will opened the door of the wardrobe and new there was something odd. It was a lot hotter then a normal wardrobe could be and was very bright, like the sun was shining in his eyes.
Infact, Will realised the sun was shining in his eyes. He could see the sun, Will gasped then quickly slamed the door. Ten seconds later Halt entered the room "that wardrobe wasn't cheap you know" halt said, Will looked at halt and said hurredly "Halt!Yourwardrobeisanotherland" "slow down and tell me, and this time dont rush" "its your wardrobe, look for yourself"
