"Hey Miley" blurted Lily anxiously.

"What are you doing?"

'I am trying to rehearse for the Country Music Awards, I won another booty" declared Miley.

While they were practicing Jackson was blaring his stereo to Makayla Miley's arch rival

"Hey Lily will you go upstairs and tell Jackson to turn the stereo down?" Miley asked.

Lily made her way up there. She knocked on Jackson's bedroom door. He answered with "If it is Miley just walk away."

"It isn't" answered Lily

Jackson wondered what she wanted. He has had a crush on Lily for a while. "Gosh Jackson your room is a mess" Lily said in disgust. "Oh yeah Miley wanted me to tell you that she is practicing and needs some quiet."

He wanted to impress Lily so he turned down the music. For some odd reason the radio changed to a slow song. Jackson took Lily into his arms. He twirled her around, dipped her then kissed her.

She was startled, she couldn't believe it. She ran downstairs as fast as she could. Miley was wondering where she was and what took her so long. She didn't want to tell Miley because she liked that kiss. Lily didn't what to admit it to herself yet though cause it was her best friend's brother.

Jackson couldn't believe he kissed her. He felt bad that he did it without knowing even if she likes him. He just got caught up in the moment.

At dinner that night the conversations were filled with Miley going on about winning another "Booty." Lily and Jackson were so quiet. Robbie Ray kept asking them what was wrong.

They didn't want to tell anyone about the kiss. Miley lurked around the corner when they were in the hallway talking, and she witnesses something that she never thought she would see in a million years. Their lips touched, and they bumped noses. Miley runs to her room and acts like she didn't see a thing. Lilly walks up to Miley and they start talking. "So Lilly, Um What's up?" "Oh nothing much just looking for my skateboard." she was licking her lips and acting very anxious. "Lily..." Miley started to say. "What?" Lilly responded. "Oh nothing... just thinking about something school related." "Miley what is it, you know you can tell me anything right?" "Yeah well how about what you not telling me about your secretive love affair with my brother!" "How could you know... wait were you spying on me!" "No I just momentarily saw you locking lips with captain banana peel! "Well that was because I tripped and I was trying to pick myself up and.. and.. and... okay you caught me, but I don't know how to explain other than say... I love him okay! In Miley's room they both were confused as ever about their love lives.

"I figured that you wouldn't let me. I want me and you to stay best friends," Lily said doubtfully. "I don't care if you go out with my brother as long as you don't leave me," Miley insisted. Lily was amazed. She said, "Miley, I could never leave you. You have helped through everything. My days wouldn't be normal without you." Miley reached for a hug they sat there crying. There was no way they could leave each other they were in it together.
