Quick A/N: No real reasoning behind this really, I just wrote it for a lit
class last year and dug it up again the other day. Probably was pining for
some guy at the time..*sigh* L'amour..Hehe.
===========

Shall I compare thee to the midnight moon?
Thou art as slender as the new crescent
Though do not wax and wane, nor pass so soon.
Thou art so handsome, constant, never spent.
Too far away her face is often dimmed
By sheltering clouds and stars so bright.
The fog rolls by to show her, so fair skinned
And then she is gone, passed away from sight.
But thy handsome face will always shine on,
Thy hand I would hold, just t'were you to be mine.
Thy skin so soft, like the dew of the dawn.
Should thy ever leave, how my heart would pine.
So long as the moon doth shine on in full,
Forever from you, my heartstrings do pull.
