Ah love. Hehe. I was just thinking the other day while sitting in my HUGE corn field about how hard those three simple words are to say, and I wrote this. It's short but it's cute. I'm trying to put out some fluff before School tomorrow, and i'm typing up the sequel to Damaged, so read this while you wait. XD!

Three words. Three syllables. One too many ways to mess it up. Everyone knew those words, no matter what language you spoke. You just knew them. Those words could change your life. You could say them at the wrong moment and your relationship could go sour.

But say them at the right moment and your relationship could stay sweet.

The young airbender didn't know why it was so hard to say them. He would dream or it and plan but they never left his brain. It all would go out the window when he saw her, and he became afraid. He was afraid that she wouldn't say them back and that she would run away. He didn't want to lose the one thing that kept him going, the one person to save him from himself

He didn't want to lose his best friend.

He hated when he was just about too tell her and someone would interrupt, his moment lost. It frustrated him that she didn't know he was doing it all for her.

He would lay up lat into the night, trying to find a way to tell her, to show her, hoe much he truly loved her. He wanted her to know that he would never leave her or hurt her like most jerks would. He wanted to show her that she was his world, his everything.

But he couldn't find the right moment to do so, up until now.

They were standing out in front of Iroh's tea shop, the sun setting beside them. She was absolutely beautiful in his opinion as the sun hit her face. His stomach filled with butterflies as they broke their kiss and she laid her head on his shoulder. Their arms were wrapped around each other tightly, not wanting to break their contact. A slight breeze blew their clothes and her hair. A sweet smell filled his nostrils and he smiled.

"Katara?" he said nervously.

"Yeah Aang?" She whispered into his ear. He shivered at the feeling.

"I-I love you." He whispered to her, holding his breath. She seemed to melt into his embrace.

"I love you too." She said before kissing him again.
