Peridot looked ahead of her at the lavender-haired girl, her girlfriend. It was their last day of school, last day of twelfth grade. The bell rang. Peridot jumped up.

Her girlfriend walked over to her. In silence, they walked out of school with their things and started their way towards Peridot's house. They didn't have to talk, they just… knew.

They soon arrived at Peridot's house. The lavender-haired girl pulled Peridot upstairs. They got on her bed, both still sitting up.

Peridot's girlfriend leaned closer. "Amethyst….."

"Come on Peri….." said Amethyst. Peridot knew what she wanted. She closed the 3 centimeter gap between them, her lips closing onto Amethyst's.

Peridot wondered who would end the kiss. But why would they want to…?

Peridot soon pulled away. "Why'd you end it?" Asked Amethyst.

"We need air." Said Peridot after catching her breath. If they didn't need to breathe, she would have kept the kiss going forever.

"Well, I guess that's fine." Said Amethyst. She locked her lips with Peridot's again.

When it ended, Peridot smiled. She was excited for every day of the future they'd build….

Together.
