If I kill her
I can go home…
Alive.
But I have nothing
To live for,
Katniss does.
She has a sister
And a mother,
That love her…
I don't.
I reach into
My pack and pull
Out five berries.
The five small things
That are going
To kill me.
I take a deep breath,
My last breath,
And place each of the
Berries in my mouth.
I close my eyes as
The juice from the
Berries
Seeps onto my tongue.
My last thought:
Katniss.
I slip into nothingness
As I hear my cannon
Fire.
