Hey people! So, I was looking in the Manage Stories place when I realized that the numbers next to the stories weren't in order. It was One, two, three, four, five, one, two, one, two, three, four, one, two, three...And so on. So I had to write a fanfiction about it.
"Halt?" Will called into the darkness. "Are you awake?"
"No." Halt replied.
"I'm freaking out, Halt." Will said.
Halt turned to look at his apprentice, even though it was completely pointless in the darkness. "Why are you freaking out?"
"The numbers are all wrong, Halt." Will sobbed.
Halt raised an eyebrow at his apprentice, which was also pointless in the darkness. "What numbers?"
"One, two, three, four, five…" Will let out a loud gasp. "One! Why can't they go in order?"
Halt, for one, was too stunned for words. "What are you talking about, Will?"
"The numbers!" Will yelled. "They aren't natural!"
Halt was getting seriously creeped out. Then he remember the blonde girl and the fan fiction world that she spoke about. Maybe this had something to do with her. "Will…do you remember that girl who visited us that one time?"
"Which one?" Will asked, still sobbing from the horror of the numbers.
"The one who told us about that we had nearly one hundred fan fictions. Do you remember her?"
Will nodded, then, realizing that Halt couldn't see it in the darkness, he said, "Yeah."
"Does she have something to do with this?"
"Maybe…"
"What do you mean, 'maybe?"
"She might have told me about the numbers…Maybe."
"You're ridiculous, Will."
"No! The numbers are ridiculous!" Will said. "They don't even go in order!"
Halt decided not to pursue this any further. "I'm going back to sleep, Will."
"What if the numbers attack me, though?"
"Then you'll die." Halt replied as he closed his eyes and fell into a blissfull sleep.
