Leaving Love
I linger in the eerie darkness,
I'm whispering out your name,
Your calling me deceitful,
but I love you all the same.
You can't tell an ally from an enemy,
a lover from a friend,
stop telling me to love you,
you'll just hurt me in the end.
You crave the heat of soft lips.
It wasn't love but lust in every bone,
so now I'm calling you disgraceful,
leaving you hanging all alone.
