"this is not going to go the way you think."
rey thinks ben is an enigma. he's either very crazy or very sane and she really cannot tell which one at any given point of time.
he acts like he is doing the wrong thing then does the right thing — and then says he doesn't know what right and wrong are. yes, he is strange, he is a mystery, and she's unsure of whether or not she can solve him.
ben kills snoke. maybe it was for her. then he becomes snoke. is this for her?
rey thinks kylo ren is a nightmare. he's worse, actually, because their connection is not just to scare her. it has meaning and she wants to see him sometimes. that truly scares her. she fears.
if the world must be balanced between light and dark, they will fail together. they are too dark, both of them, not enough light. luke skywalker dies and the scales tip. if leia organa does they might flip over.
kylo ren doesn't have light in him, she learns. he has conflicting values that do not have much in common with the force. rey, however, does have dark. she has a nightmare which is taking over.
rey thinks kylo ren is her destiny, because there is one choice, one path in front of her, and it leads to him. she has no options but him. so she makes a choice like the force, never physically there. she has no intention of joining it.

"luke lied," is the basis of what kylo says to her.
"maybe about you, ben," she breathes. he looks into her eyes and looks away and then shimmers away into the shadows.
peace is a lie, it seems just like luke skywalker, just like the jedi, dead like the past.
kill it if you have to. she has.
"this is going to go the way you think."
