Mia and the High Heel Shoes
Hi! It's me, Mia, AGAIN. I have to tell you about the most embarrassing day of my life, and it was the day I first came back to home since I left for Genovia. So, here it goes.
My Mom took me to the mall one day and I got this pair of totally hip and cute pink and white polka dot pumps for my date with Michael on Saturday to go with my pink and white dress. But she said I had to wear them to school to get accustomed to them and get them worn in, so Monday morning I went through the regular routine of taking a shower, brushing my teeth, fixing my hair, and putting on make- up. Then I put on my cute layered and frilly pink skirt with white flowers on it, and a white tank top with pink flowers on it. It was adorable together because the pinks were the exact same shade. Then, I put on the pink and white polka dot pumps, but it was then that I didn't know, that those cute little pumps would cause me the most embarrassing day of my life.
I walked downstairs to get breakfast and my mom kept complimenting me on how cute my outfit was and how she wished she could wear something like that, even though she could because before mom got pregnant with my professor's baby, she had a killer body, for a mom at least, she is no Tyra Banks. But anyways, I ate my breakfast and walked out the door and met up with Lily so we could walk to school together. But then, as I was walking down my front steps to go catch up with her, I tripped down all 6 concrete steps and surprisingly didn't break my arm. Lily started to run towards me but I got up before she could help me. "I'm okay!" I kept telling her while she was brushing me off. We started to walk to school and I tripped about 5 times before we finally got to the school. I had about 500 hellos to say since it was my first day back from my trip to Genovia. Then, I started walking and then I saw Josh. I was so busy going gaga over him that I wasn't paying attention to the pole right in front of me. And of course I ran into it and finally got attention from Josh, just not the kind I wanted. Then I saw Michael, beautiful Michael. He is a lot hotter than he was when he left from his visit to Genovia to see me. He got his shag cut off and blonde tips. I was paying so much attention to how hot Michael was and I didn't look where I was walking and tripped. There was a crack in the sidewalk. That is 7 trips in less that 1 hour. I could tell this was going to be a bad day. The whole day went along like that but just not with anybody important around. I ended up breaking the heel to one of my shoes and having to return and lie and say I slipped my foot in and it broke. So I learned a lesson today. That before you go off and wear a cute pair of 100 dollar shoes be sure you can walk in them. Live and learn I guess.
