While Jack Landers the red ranger is lying in the informery Sky Tate, Syd Drew, Z Delgado, and Bridge Carson run into battle with yet another monster. Grumm is throwing everything he has against the rangers. He just can't win. Soon though Jack Landers gets better and runs to join his friends in a battle only to find his nightmare come true, the other rangers are hanging by their legs unconscious. Jack freaks out and runs to where his best friend Z is hanging and frantically tries to untie her. The monster sneaks up behind Jack and throws him down on the ground. Jack gets back up on his feet and tries to fight the monster off but he is to much for him, Jack calls for shadow and omega to help him fight the monster.
Omega and shadow keep the monster busy while Jack goes to untie his friends. After Jack unties his friends he sends them back to the command center right to the informery where they lye unconscious until the battle is over. Cruger, Sam and Jack walk into the informery after the battle and see how bad their friends are hurt. Sam can't take it and runs out of the informery. Jack is hanging over by Z and Sky is the first to start waking up. Jack doesn't notice that Sky has woken up instead it's Cruger and Kat who are over by him making sure he is all right.
Cruger and Kat allow Sky to get out of bed and walk around seeing that he has only got a broken left shoulder and a sprained right angle. Later that day Jack finally notices that Sky has woken up when he is in the common room of SPD. Jack walks up to Sky and tries talking to him but Sky moves to the window and stars out it not listening to what Jack has to say. Around 4 PM Cruger and Jack are sitting in the command center watching over the city when Jack finally speaks up, "I have no idea why Sky won't talk to me." Kat just happens to be walking in at the time.
They look at each other for a little bit. Finally Cruger tells Jack what might be going on with Sky and why he's acting this way, "You got to listen to me Jack, Sky has had a lot of things happen to him and that this is what he usually does when he doesn't feel like talking to anyone."
