Chapter One
He had jumped on his horse and straight through the mirror. As the mirror smashed Rose's hopes had plummeted.
Rose's POV
Oh my god, he actually did it, he sacrificed himself, he sacrificed us as well. He's just going to leave us here, and he's going to stay in France with that woman.
Well, I suppose if that's what he wants then he has every right to go off with someone else. It's better that way, at least he's happy.
End POV.
She was think of the Doctor and all the times she spent with him but her train of thought was disrupted when Mickey gently put his hand on her shoulder and whispered something along the lines of "Rose it's going to alright, we've still got each other". Despite Mickey's best effort, she was still discouraged and extremely depressed.
Mickey found it no use trying to continue cheering her up when she obviously didn't want him around at that point of time, so he decided to look around to see if there were any gateways into Reinette's world but he was unsuccessful. Discouraged, Mickey walked over to Rose and gently lead her into the Tardis and told her to sit down, she complied for a minute but when Mickey started talking she sat up and left the Tardis and returned to her spot of reminiscence.
Rose's POV
"Mickey, I can't stand him right now. I suppose he's happy to see that the Doctor is gone, so now he can have a go at me again but it's not happening. Mickey knows I love the doctor and he knows that I would wait for him to come back. Why must he keep on pestering me about the Doctor's Faults and everything else.
End of POV.
Rose at this point had enough, all she wanted was the doctor back in her arms and to be off flying around time and space, but no Mickey came around and hugged her lightly. By this point she had had enough and pushed him off and yelled "Mickey leave me alone, I don't want your sympathy or anything else including your love So Leave Me Alone". Mickey could take a hint and lowered his head and whispered "sorry" so softly that Rose could barely understand it. He walked away into the Tardis and Rose stood by the broken window and stared down and stroked the pane before tears appeared in her eyes.
