Hiei: *thinking* I have to save Yukina. Who are these bastards who kidnapped her anyway? I only hope they're not like Tarukane… They'd better not have used demon wards or else…!
(Hiei jumps from tree to tree quickly.)
Hiei: *thinking* Why the hell can't my Jagan sense her?
(Hiei stops moving so fast…and stops.)
Hiei: *thinking* I heard the fool say she was last seen at Mt. Hiei…
(Hiei starts moving again.)

(Hiei arrives at Mt. Hiei and hears screaming.)
(Male) Voice: What the hell is wrong with you!? Cry already you bitch!!!
(Hiei runs into the cave from which the screaming is coming from. Hiei sees his sister tied to a large boulder. She looks like she desperately wants to cry. There's a puddle of blood beneath where she is standing, and on her hands all the knuckles are coming out. Bones are sticking out of her arms, and her right foot's toes look like they are hanging on by a thread.)
Hiei: YUKINA!!!
(Both heads turn but Hiei—lucky that he is almost invisible when he sprints—hides before anyone can see him. Yukina senses that it's him though.)
Man: *mumbling in a different language*
(The man is holding a spear and walking towards Yukina.)
Yukina: *gasps*
(Hiei rushes out from his hiding place, and he slashes the man's head off. More men come rushing into the cave to find their 'master' dead and a boy and a girl. They immediately rush to grab the girl when Hiei easily kills them all, but gets injured in the process. Then he grabs Yukina and runs out of the cave.)

(Hiei lies Yukina down in a small clearing so she can heal them both.)
Yukina: Thank you so much for saving me. It means so much to me that someone who I care about cares enough about me to risk their life for me.
Hiei: *realizing that she cares about him even though she knows he's a criminal, decides to tell her he's her twin* I have something to tell you.
Yukina: I need to tell you something too.
Hiei: You go first.
Yukina: Okay. For a long time now, I've really liked you a lot…
Hiei: Um… I really like you too.
Yukina: But I REALLY like you… In a different way than what you're thinking of.
Hiei: *stuttering as he finally gets it* R-really…?
Yukina: Really. Wait… wasn't there something you wanted to tell me?
Hiei: *nervous* Um… you're welcome?
