Ok, so I've read tons of stories that have Jones abusing Sam. But I was
thinking, they never actually said he hit her in the show. They've said, I
quote, "I gave the ring back because I know him." Something along the lines
of, "Even though you are holding the gun, I still have power over you." But
I have yet to here, "He beat me up" or "He hit me," have you? If you have
please do tell the episode, or quote it. I guess people just watch that
episode and believe that, really like abuse, hope not, or are fighting
against it by giving an example. I really don't know, but I decided to
write a story where, believe it or not, Jonas was actually a good person.
Yes, a good person, can you believe it? Well if not, to bad, cause here it
goes.
O here's a quote from the poem The Road Less Traveled By, by Robert Frost to go along with my little, why I'm writing this story for.
"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference"
Ok, here's the story.
THE GOOD JONES.
She'd been working at the Pentagon for a couple of years now, just engaged to a wonderful man by the name of Jones Hanson. He had brown hair, and brown eyes. He was very sweet and seemed perfect to her. Although she started to have some regrets about it. This was too perfect, they had yet to have a single fight or disagreement, and he did anything for her and her to him. They were like two peas in a pod. Nothing could separate them.
One day Capt. Samantha Carter was asked to come to Stargate Command to participate in a new team designated SG-1. She agreed right away, spending many years at the Pentagon, helping to create the Stargate computer system, and other important equipment, she finally had a chance to see, and actually be a major part of the Stargate Program, not that she wasn't already.
Sam went home that day to talk it out with Jones, they decided after a long conversation that she would go, and they would put their wedding on stand still for the time being. As the days turned to weeks, and the weeks turned to months, (hey think about it, that's about how long it was before 'The First Commandment') she had rarely seen or heard from him. The two of them were still technically engaged, yet she was starting to have regrets. When she found out that Jones was being transferred to Cheyenne Mountain, she was overjoyed.
When he go their she met him at the airport, after a long discussion about their jobs, and their futures lives they decided that marriage between the two of them would not work out well, never having the same schedule, even though they worked together, it just wouldn't be fair to each other. That day Sam gave back the ring and they decided to be friends, a special relationship between the two of them, he promised that he would be their for her whenever she needed him, until that dreadful day.
The end.
Ok, when I read stories that are about some minor character, to make you feel bad for them, it always makes me say 'what a freak.' I'm not obsessed with Jones, just to make that care, I really don't care for him, this is like the poem in the beginning of my story, the other road less traveled by. It's short and sweet I know, but I'm pretty happy with it, it's almost as good as tornado or that one Skippy story. If you would like to read tornado or The Skippy Stories just e-mail me with your request. Neither are about Stargate characters. (That was really random) Anyways, pleaser and r, I really appreciate it, thanks. Your reviews really help, that brighten y day if they are good, and help me correct a mistake if they are bad, and I appreciate both.
