Ode to Sasuke
A knight in shining armor comes to rescue the girl
But he looks different to every girl
Or he looks the same to every girl
But the love I found with another
Eclipsed the one he felt for me
I'm so sorry, my dear Sasuke
But I can't do that to my friend Sakura
Holding onto the past am I
Waiting for Ren to come back home,
Where I wait for him alone.
Although he looks through the window
To see if I am still in the world,
I'm very sorry for you, Sakura,
That Sasuke actually loves me
I could care less about the movies
I hardly ever watch TV anymore,
Waiting for Ren to open the door
Back from Tokyo, back for me
But now I need to pretend for Sasuke
I don't like this, Sasuke
Sakura should be with you
Sakura should really be here now
It should be her instead of me
Sitting here near Sasuke
In this ode to Sasuke,
In his life
Why
Why does he never seem to see
The real woman worthy of him
Isn't even me
I try my best,
I can't pass this test
My dear Sasuke, I can't bear it anymore
For I love him
I love him…
If the knight is misguided,
I try to set him back on the right path
With another damsel on that path
Who deserves the knight more than me
I keep failing miserably however
I'm so sorry, Ren, my only love
I must go along with Sasuke
But Sasuke can't see
That Sakura is really the one he needs to be
With to be eternally happy
I can't bear it anymore!
For I love him!
I said I love him!
Ren, I love you!
But I will try for Sasuke, too…
I will never belong
