A/N: This little thingy came to me this afternoon and I wrote it quickly so all the mistakes are mine. Hope you guys like it!
Update A/N: NorthernLights94 was so kind to become my bèta and corrected all my horrible mistakes! Thanks go out to her!
She was at the end of her second trimester and her hormones were killing her. Everything suddenly seemed to annoy her; the way Wayne organized his socks, how Cho kept tapping with his pen while reading a book, but most of all the bickering of Jane and Lisbon. They seemed to be at each other's throats for the past weeks, most of the time it was about Red John or his screwing with the case, but she knew what the real problem was.
When Jane hurried out of Lisbon's office and a stapler followed him, she'd had enough.
"Dammit Jane! You should have told me!"
He tilted his head and rolled his eyes, "Well, I just did, didn't I?"
"You know what I meant!" Lisbon hissed, trying not to draw everyone's attention to them.
"But Lisbon..." He pouted.
Grace couldn't take it any longer and stood up.
"Stop it! Both of you just get a room and do it! Your bickering is not going to help catch Red John and I'm sick of all the unresolved sexual tension between the two of you!"
She didn't think Lisbon could have gotten any redder and both of them stood there stupefied for a second.
Lisbon, who was obviously embarrassed at the whole situation, ran back into her office, shut the blinds and locked the door.
Jane was still standing quietly in the middle of the bullpen, looking at his shoes and rocking back and forth on his heels.
Grace glared at him.
"What are you waiting for?! Go pick that lock and jump her! She's wanted you for years and while you keep holding her off she's been frustrated, anxious and unfocused and so have you. So go and fix it!"
Jane bit his lip and looked at her in deep fear.
"Go!" She demanded, pointing at Lisbon's office.
She watched him slowly shuffle towards the desired location. For a second she feared he would make off to the attic, to hide just like Lisbon. But he didn't, he stopped in front of the door and took out two small metal rods out of his jacket. Within a few seconds he popped the door open and she watched as he entered and shut the door behind him.
Not more than five minutes later strange noises could be heard in the bullpen. Cho walked past Lisbon's office and concluded that the sounds came from in there. He saw Van Pelt sitting at her desk with a broad smile on her face.
"Is Lisbon finally killing Jane?"
She didn't even look up from her screen as she spoke, "I think she's finally riding Jane."
The large sip of coffee he'd just taken came spluttering out of his mouth and he almost choked.
A few minutes after the noise had stopped she watched as a disheveled looking Jane and Lisbon came sneaking out of her office.
"Look." She told Cho, who was just able to see the couple disappear into the staircase, hand in hand.
"I win." She declared happily.
"Damn." He muttered. "I thought he would have waited until Red John was caught."
"Maybe this way, they'll catch him quicker."
"Yeah, probably."
"So where's my money?"
Cho stood up, got his wallet out of his pocket and put down a hundred dollar bill next to her. She smiled; suddenly she didn't seem to suffer as much from her hormones.
