A/N: I wrote this short fic before I saw the next episode of Cowboy Bebop
after Edward leaves. So don't complain that something in my fic isn't the
same as the TV program.

Ed walked along the dusty track/road carrying her stuff on top of her head. Iyne trotted at her feet. The sun was still setting (long sunset huh?) as Ed stopped dead in her tracks to take one last look at her last home. She saw Faye return and go inside the ship and thought of the things they had done yesterday. An unexpected tear trickled down her cheek and Ed sat down on the floor and stroked Iyne. "Edward misses friend persons. Don't you too Iyne?" Iyne whined at her.
*flashback*
Edward painted the second 'Bye' on the floor. Her hand shook a bit as she done it but she kept on going. Finally she added the big smile to her face and gathered all her stuff together. "Edward going to miss everyone" She pushed open the door and jumped outside.
"So, she's gone"
Jet wandered into the room and stared at Ed's 'BYE BYE o___o' message.
The Spike and Jet heard Faye enter and stand in the doorway behind them.
"What's the fuss about?" Faye walked forward and her eyes opened wider at the sight before her. "I'll miss her"
*end of flashback*
More tears followed the single tear on Ed's face and she finally stood up and put her stuff under her arm. "We go say goodbye" The pair ran as fast as they could and burst through the door. Edward ran to the room where she had left the message, dropped her stuff and hugged everyone at the same time. "I have to go now and find Father person." She turned to Faye. "You said everyone has a place where they belong and mine's with Father person" She hugged everyone one last time with her face still damp from her tears. "Goodbye now friends"
"Take care of yourself kid"
"Stay out of trouble"
"Good luck and we'll miss you"
"Edward miss you too" Ed jumped out side through the open door and caught her stuff as Jet threw it to her. Iyne jumped down to her side and together they walked into the sunset.
