"We'll miss this place," was all he said.
Edmund Pevensie, King of Narnia, gazed at the lapping waters, that melancholic face, and at Aslan's all-knowing eyes, and his features softened.
For granting me this small favor, the assurance that he will never know, Aslan I thank you.
He turned from the world that was his home, a tear -unnoticed to all but Lucy- slidding down his cheek, and departed without looking back.
