Greg and Sara sat across from each other, with a chessboard between them. Greg studied the board for a moment before making a move.
"Would you hurry up?" Sara was getting impatient. "We need to finish this before Gil gives us an assignment."
"Perfection takes time." Greg teased, happy to be doing something he was good at. "Checkmate."
Sara stared at the board in disbelief. "How…?" She was stopped by Grissom's entrance.
"You guys have a 419 at a house. Family's on vacation. Detective Vartan will meet you." He handed Sara a slip of paper with the address on it.
Greg and Sara walked away together. "Hey, can I see that? It's my turn to drive." Greg had grabbed the keys to one of the department Denalis.
"I don't think so." Sara grabbed for the keys, but Greg pulled them out of her reach.
"Why can't you let me drive for once?" He started walking faster.
"Because." Sara kept pace with him. They both knew Greg was fighting the inevitable.
Greg's fast walk turned into a run. "It's not fair! You always drive!" he whined.
Sara was getting annoyed now. Greg should know that she was supposed be in charge here. This was getting ridiculous.
Suddenly, Sara tackled Greg to ground. "Give me those keys!"
Greg usually didn't like being tackled, but he was perfectly happy to be pinned down by Sara. "Wow, Sara, I really like you too, but we shouldn't do this while we're at work."
"You're ridiculous!" Sara sighed. Greggo was being impossible.
Just that moment, Ecklie and Hodges walked down the hallway.
Conrad blinked. "I don't even want know." Hodges, meanwhile, was taking photos with his cell phone.
A/N: short and sweet. Kind of random. This was inspired by an episode where Greg complains that Sara always drives. Please review. I'll give you cookie if you do. ;)
Tell me anything you want. Let me know if I'm brilliant or crazy.
