Just a thought.

She was in the library, doing a book report. And of all things…it was on Saturn. She clutched the diamond and ruby necklace around her neck tightly.
It couldn't happen, it would never happen. Not with the Domyouji-san around. Tsukushi opened the book closest to her and flipped randomly, hoping to get her mind off of her failing relationship.
But some things were just not meant to be.
She flipped through page after page of information, not really reading any of it. She stopped flipping, and just started to think. Tsukushi was spacing out and she knew it.
Concentrate! She thought to herself! Concentrate.
She looked at the words on the page. "Saturn is made mostly of gas. For this reason, scientists are unable to land anything on this planet. Even rovers would melt the instant they touch the planet."
Tears dribbled down her face. "Melt huh." She fingered the necklace again. She had most certainly melted.
Tsukushi switched books, not wanting to read anymore about melting.
"Saturn, although extremely gorgeous, cannot be touched because of the high gas concentration." She slammed the book closed.
That night, as she looked into the sky from the middle of park, she couldn't help but think of him.
"No, I can't." She said. She couldn't melt. "I have to hang on, for my family, and for Yuki and Kazuya's too."
Unconsciously, she turned towards Saturn. She couldn't see it, but she knew it was there. Her heart beat, more intensely and faster.
Tsukushi knew it. No matter how many times she sprung back up, she was still a weed. An unwanted weed. She couldn't compare to Saturn, not ever. "So beautiful, so bright," she said. Mentally, she added, "And so out of my league."
Saturn was beautiful, and it shone brightly in the night sky…but no matter how close you got, you'd never be able to touch it.
She closed her eyes, and let the tears run free.
I know I can't touch it. I know it's impossible. But…
She thought of all the memories she'd had with him. With Tsukasa. With her Saturn.
I can't touch it, but I sure as heck can try.
"Saturn is composed almost entirely of gas, therefore making it impossible to land our current technology on Saturn." Makino Tsukushi's voice rang through the classroom, presenting her project. It was most certainly impressive.
"And that concludes my presentation." She made her way back to her seat, but was stopped by her teacher.
"And the Saturn around your neck?" He asked.
Tsukushi smiled. "Sorry, it's Saturn. You can't touch it." She answered with a smile. But I'll keep trying, she thought. And one day, I'll get there.
I know it.
