Starstorm's Request
Chapter 1- New team
"Incoming call, Incoming call!" the computer beeped. It was in the middle of a blue room, filled with other computers, and a chair near the back of the room, with a door behind it.
"Patch it in." I replied. At that moment a blurry image appeared on the videophone.
It was a man, but he had some characteristics of a dog. He had a snout and long floppy ears. He had short hairs covering his body, which gave him a slight yellow tinge. He was in a red colonel uniform, and had a blue beret on his head.
"Isaac! I need your help" I listened, but didn't take my eyes off my sword.
"Isaac, are you listening?" the colonel said, with a slight tone of annoyance in his voice.
"Colonel Sarthem, you've said that 6 times the last month. Last time I had to get a little girl out of a well, and the time before that, I had to escort a boy to his house, as his mom couldn't pick him up from school. I'm not taking any more missions from you." I said, in a blunt tone.
"Isaac, now it's an emergency. The Venus lighthouse is in trouble. You're the only team I could think of for the job. Now we need you to help stop the destruction of the lighthouse. Apparently, Two cloaked dark figures where reported on top of the lighthouse, and a funny purple aura surrounded it. One of the villagers in the town of Kranlle, which is located next to the lighthouse, approached one of the shadows. As soon as he was within arms reach of them, what can only be described as a floating green ball was sent towards the townsman, transforming him into a blob of blue gas, which added to the aura. We need you to go and help!" explained the colonel.
"I would like too colonel, but where not a team anymore. Everyone split up. Ivan went off to take care of his own family. Garret has gone to protect the mars lighthouse from any more danger, and Mia can't be found. It's just me."
"Not any more." Said a man behind me. I turned round to see who it was.
I immediately picked up my sword and put it up to his neck. The man was dressed in green clothes, a light green cape, brown hair, tied in a ponytail at the back, and brown leather gloves. It was Felix.
"Why are you here? Give me a good reason not to kill you now!" I yelled.
"Hump. Isaac, this isn't like you. But if you want to kill me, go ahead." Felix said. "But what colonel Sarthem is saying is true. I'm here to help. Now, we have too make our way to the Venus light house." After saying this, he turned and walked out of the room.
"What choice do I have" I thought, and followed him. And with that, I was paired up with my enemy, to try and save the lighthouse.
