Keeping to herself most of the time and only allowing a select few members of Overwatch to get close to her, the young woman's request for a meditation session with him had been a surprising one.

Not one to deny someone in need, Zenyatta accepted her request.

Bringing her own bright yoga mat, when his quarters were already equipped with the proper equipment, Zenyatta wondered if this was because she was being self-dependent and rebellious or prepared. He hoped it was the latter, since receptive pupils were much easier to teach.

With a soothing voice, Zenyatta instructed her on the ways of meditating, placing emphasis on the need to focus on her breaths. Zenyatta knew she was a woman of few words, so he left it at that and offered no more instructions, allowing the woman to dwell only on her thoughts and breathing.

When the designated time for the meditation had ended, Zenyatta noticed that the young woman was drying her eyes. This was not the intended effect he had expected. Did the meditation bring upon some painful memories responsible for her sorrow? Zenyatta couldn't help, but feel responsible.

"Forgive me, I believed that meditation would bring you peace, yet there are tears in your eyes. Please, help me understand why." Zenyatta apologized, wishing that she would explain the reason for her tears.

"I did find peace, Zenyatta. They're happy tears." She smiled. The answer surprising Zenyatta.

"I focused on the happiest moments in my life and imagined an empty night sky filling with stars! It was almost like a promise that there were would be more happy moments, yet to come."

"I understand now." Zenyatta acknowledged, with a caring nod.

"You were there Zenyatta. You were amongst the stars! Though that could be because I was remembering you telling me to focus on my breathing." She confessed, before quickly dismissing it. A need to get close and a need to push people away. A truly paradoxical woman, Zenyatta thought.

"Then was our meditation a star in your night sky?" Zenyatta asked, understanding her intent.

"Yes. I enjoyed meditating with you. I hope we can do it again sometime." The woman volunteered her true thoughts freely.

"As do I."
