Fukase and Oliver walked through the downtown street, breathing in the humid air. They continued past the brightly covered buildings, cutting through the swarms of people. It was Summer, and the sun was heating up the air. Despite this, both of there hands had found each other, and they tangled together. They attempted to ignore the stares as they made there way along.

"Hey, Ollie, we should head back home now." Oliver looked up at his boyfriend, Fukase. He shielded his eyes with his free hand to block out the sunlight as he looked up. They had been out shopping for their new apartment for a few hours, but hadn't come up with much.

"Are you sure? We haven't really gotten anything." He looked down to the bag of groceries that he was holding left hand.

"Yeah, we can go furniture shopping tomorrow. Sleeping on the floor makes my back hurt," He complained, rubbing his back for effect.

"Okay." He agreed with a chuckle. Fukase steered them around, going the opposite way they had been going a few moments before. They walked in casual silence, besides Oliver occasionally looking the side. Fukase seemed to noticed this.

"Ollie, are you alright?" Fukase asked with concern lacing his voice, "You've been acting strange." Oliver turned his head back towards the red head.

"Yeah, I'm fine. We've just been getting weird looks..." Oliver trailed off awkwardly, blushing slightly. He knew he shouldn't let everyone get to him, but it was unnerving all the same.

"What, are you embarrassed to be dating me?" Fukase teased him with a wink. Oliver rolled his eyes at him, but letting a smile make its way to his face, none the less.

"No, but people staring at me is embarrassing." He said with a soft laugh.

"Don't let them get to you." He smiled, squeezing his hand in a sign of reassurance, "They're probably just jealous of me, for having such an amazing boyfriend!" He swung their hands around, causing a flow of air.

Oliver smiled to himself, returning the affectionate squeeze. Maybe this wasn't so bad.
