Goodbye my Child

Azula watched as her mother packed her bag. She just came from the throne room. The young firebender was hidding in a corner. Her mother looked like she was going some were. Also like she was in a rush. Azula watched as Ursa turned and grabbed a red cloak that was on the bed. She put the cloak on and get her bag then left.

Ursa looked around her bed room one last time. She once loved the room. It held some of her best memories. It also was a terrible place. She once shared the room with her husbend prince Ozai. But that was the past, she had to leave now. She put on her cloak and got her bag.

Azula watched her mother walk down the hall. She waited until her mother left to follow her. Ursa walked at a fast pace and ended up in front of Zuko's room. Azula got close enough to hear what her mother was saying but not enough to be seen. Her mother told Zuko to be to true to his self. Then she was off down the hall.

I only had a little bit of time left. I needed to say goodbye. I went to Zuko's room he was sleep.I told him to be true to his self. I hope he does not end up like his father. I pray when I'm gone he will be ok. All my baby boy wanted to do was please his father. I hoped it was not the death of him.

Azula watched her mother leave Zuko. She was leaving and she just told Zuko goodbye. Azula watched her go down another hall. Azula was wondering when she would get to her room, but she never did. She headed right for the palace doors. But she stopped before she got always there.

"Azula. I know your there." Ursa turned around and saw her Azula. Her little girl looked like she had tears in her eyes.

"You weren't even going to say goodbye to me." Azula looked at her mother and only saw the fear she though her mother had for her.

"You were following me the whole time. I was going to talk to you." Ursa dropped her bag and walked over to Azula. The girl started to back up, but ursawas faster then her and gripped her in a tight hug. Azula started to cry and try to fight her mother off, but Ursa was not giving up.

She pulled back and looked at Azula. "I will mis you." Azula's little face had turned completely red. Her young eyes filed with tears. Ursa did not have time left and needed to leave now.

"I will...miss...you..too." Azula choked out as she hugged her mother again.

"I have to leave. Try to be good." With that and a last hug Ursa was gone. Azula watched as her mother left the palace. That was the last time she ever saw her.

The firebender turned around and went to her bed room. She opened her door and laid on her bed. She had her sleeping clothes on already. She curled her legs up to her chest and then cried.

Her mother was gone forever.
