Jealous
I had to admit, I was jealous. Jealous that Callie had some magical
hold on Carey. Jealous that he thought he was in love. Jealous about
Callie's voice. I might be 14, but I'm old enough to understand about
liking someone. The moment I met Carey, I swear he had to be the cutest
guy I'd ever seen. And it broke my heart, when we were walking down
the street, trying to find a hiding place for Callie. Carey was talking
about mini scooters. I wasn't paying attention, until I heard Carey
say; "Does Fi have to come with us?" That hurt. A-lot. He said it,
like I was an annoying little sister, that wouldn't go away. But I
swallowed the tears that were forming, and acted like I didn't care.
That's what I'd always been proud of, my unfound acting skills.
I could act better than anyone I knew. I just never showed it. Even
though, I was jealous of Callie, I was really sad when she left.
She left Carey behind to be unhappy. And I was sad, becuse Carey's
heart was broken. Which got me to thinking, I thought this was a
crush, maybe, it's some thing more?
