Kid Flash smiled at Robin, as the younger boy showed his opponent that he would not be as easy to take down as any other thirteen year old. The huge man's face could only be described as a little kid's who just found out there was no Santa. He was still trying to figure out why Robin was five feet away from where the knife had landed when Kid Flash's 'borrowed' gun handle came down on his head.

"Hey, I had him!" Robin complained, uncharacteristically scowling. Kid Flash wasn't put off by the look and instead moved closer to the small boy.

"Sure thing, short stack." He muttered playfully. Despite his words the fifteen year old was walking towards Robin in a smooth, almost dream like way. Robin opened his mouth to rebuttal, but found that his voice had been captured at the exact moment Kid Flash's rough hand slipped gently around his face to cup around the back of his neck. Their bodies were drawn in closer, feeding of each other's warmth. "You look so bad ass when you're kicking butt." Kid Flash whispered as their faces were drawn together. Robin's pale arms were suddenly wrapping around Kid Flash's waist. He pulled gently to close the extra space. Two pairs of lips mashed together in an awkward and clumsy kiss. Their lips were naive and curious, at first being gentle and hesitant. But soon need overcame their nervousness and the kissing was filled with hunger and need. A small moan escaped from Robin as Kid Flash held him tighter. Too soon did their team mate's calls fill the air. The voices sounded worried and growing louder by the second. The two broke apart, flushed and breathing heavily.

"We should go." Robin said after a moment. He shifted a little on his feet, as if embarrassed or nervous. Kid Flash just nodded, he understood why.

"We don't have to tell them yet." He soothed the younger gently.

"Thanks….And Wally…I love you." Robin was gone with the wind, to find the rest of his team. For a moment Kid Flash could only stand there, dumbstruck and surprised but smiling broadly.

"I love you too Dick."
